Day: all day on the easy walking west highland way.
Weather: 80-90% clouds. Intermittent very light showers, but no rain that mattered. Feet still dry. Wind was significant only for a mile or two on Conic Hill, rest of the day was breezy but not a problem.
Scenery: Conic Hill had excellent views. And some of the walking next to Loch Lomand was very pretty. But most of the day was fairly average and not special.
Campsite: 5-10 minutes up the hill from Loch Lomand, in a clearing in some scruffy woods, inside an old sheepfold, which is a cool place to camp, 3 stars.
Difficulty: really easyBest bird - Oystercatchers and Dippers
