March 14 - too hot for March

Feels like June. Another hiker said it was over 80 today. 9 sweaty days with no bath or laundry - feeling a bit salt encrusted.

Saturday and the hills were full of people - all ages, with or without dogs (all well behaved), hiking or running or on bikes or visiting nature centers. Everybody chipper and enjoying their public lands. I love it.

Who knew the Bay Area had an exposed volcano? Always new surprises. We're stealth camping in the volcano preserve, grand view of the bay, GG Bridge, Pacific Ocean, and crystal clear Farallon Islands.
