14 hours in field today = 95 great species.
Donkeys are primary beast of burden. They are way cool.
Children are abundant. Wherever we stop they run out from the fields and we immediately have an entourage.
Everybody is nice.
Our guide is great.
2 dominant religions in ethiopia are Islam and Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Neither religion condones tobacco or alcohol -- woo hoo!! We have seen nobody smoking and nobody drunk or rowdy or noisy.
