Walked 8-10 miles from Cosby campground to Big Creek campground. Nice weather, nice trail, easy going day. Chatted with a couple AT thru hikers while eating lunch on the trail. One is having a great time and the trip is meeting all his expectations. He's strong and doing well. The second was struggling a bit and is not maintaining a pace that puts her anywhere close to completing it; she didn't seem so thrilled.
Tomorrow morning we will walk about 4 miles to Standing Bear Hostel for showers, laundry, and a shuttle ride to Knoxville airport. Pretty soon we'll be he with our bears.
We are healthy and happy.
